Join the Party By Making Warm Homes for Community Cats This Winter!
With a simple process and a little elbow grease you can help keep the Community Cats in Douglas County warm and cozy this winter.
On January 26th, from 1pm-3pm, right here at the Lawrence Humane Society we hope you’ll join us for our Community Cat House Party. Members of the community will be building homes to shield the community cats living outside this winder protected from the harsh elements of wind, snow and bitter cold.
The Community Cat House Party is open to the public and kids are welcomed. There will be light refreshments provided. Spots are limited, and reservations are required. Please RSVP to email@example.com as soon as you can!
You can make as many houses as you bring the supplies for!
After the event, you’re welcome to take your houses with you to distribute to Community Cats in your neighborhood. Or, you can leave them with the Community Cat Team at Lawrence Humane Society. Our team will then set them up within known colonies around town!
This winter is sure to have it’s share of nasty days. And without these Community Cat Homes, these cats have nothing protecting them from the inclement weather. Thank you for helping the Community Cats in Douglas County.
We look forward to seeing you on January 26th, from 1pm-3pm, here at the shelter. And don’t forget to e-mail your RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
