Pooch Plunge!
The pool is once again going to the dogs! Your canine friends can wash off the summer heat with a “plunge” into the Lawrence Outdoor Aquatic Center pool, Tuesday, September 7, 2010. The annual Pooch Plunge invites local dogs to go for a dip or just relax on the deck!
Representatives from the Lawrence Humane Society will be present with information about the shelter, shelter animals, adoptions, volunteering, and much more. The Pooch Plunge is a great chance to learn more about your local shelter!
The Pooch Plunge fee is $5 per dog, and while owners may register at the door, pre-registration is available at any Lawrence Parks and Recreation facility or online at www.lprd.org.
All dogs must have proof of current shots the day of the event, and must stay under their owner’s control at all times. For more information, please call 785-832-SWIM.
