Shelter Challenge 2010
The Animal Rescue Site is hosting another voting challenge for eligible shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $10,000 award, and a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations are available in the contest. With support of all our friends, we had the most votes of anyone in Kansas and won a $1000 prize in December 2009.
Voting is free and easy: just visit the Animal Rescue Site every day through April 18, and with a couple clicks you’re helping us get closer to the grand prize. We hope that you’ll vote for us and help spread the message!

Congratulations to Kyle Laubner of Lawrence who held the winning ticket for this year's Harley-Davidson motorcycle drawing!
Earlier this fall Kyle had stopped at the shelter to adopt a puppy and ended up also buying one ticket for the drawing. We wish Kyle the best with his new puppy and his new Harley.
