Updates on Ruth!
It’s been almost three years since Ruth’s adoption from the Lawrence Humane Society. The Beall family adopted Ruth in 2023 when she was living at the humane society and her name was Xi. The family describes her as being an amazing companion in their daily lives. Along with hanging with the humans, Ruth has also made a best friend in the process of these last few years. Karl, another dog adopted from Kansas City, is also a part of the Beall family and loves hanging and playing with Ruth.
“Oh and she loves being a sassy little lady,” said Elliot Beall. Nonetheless, the Beall family is happy to have her as their loving companion and part of their pack. Ruth is looking to be very happy where she is and loved by all around her, which is more than great for a successful adoption story.
Nowadays, Ruth enjoys her time laying on the deck of her new home and barking at the country animals around her neighborhood. She also has interests in running in the yard with her fellow animal crew and playing with her giant tennis ball. When it gets to be lazy time, Ruth’s family describes her as a “couch queen” because she is quick to find a bed wherever she can to just chill and rest up.
