This is one of the sweetest pet movies. Centering around a pampered pup who stars in a TV show, it shows the transformation of a lifetime when Bolt is forced to discover what truly matters to him after becoming lost from his beloved owner, Penny. It is a beautiful reminder about how life can send us down a new path, but the people we love will always be with us through it all- even if we don’t see them for a while.

These movies are not your average films about a boy and his pet. This is mainly because they revolve around Stuart Little, a quirky, clever mouse, and not a dog or a cat. Hey, we support all animal-lovers here! These movies will take people of every age on a ride through child-appropriate suspense and moving moments that will turn even the most cynical of hearts into melted butter.

For those who loved the cat Puss in Boots in the Shrek franchise, this is a spinoff of his character where he has to find his way out of a storybook fairytale full of suspense. This movie is particularly a good choice for the young ones, as it is interactive and allows the child to choose the end to Puss’s story. Give this one a try with your children.
