Everything is bigger in Texas, including the dogs! Meet Houston, a 2 year old, cane corso mix with a heart of gold! Houston is a rather special boy who has had a tough run during his short life. This gentle giant came to the shelter after getting hit by a car and he hasn’t quite been the same since the accident. His front right paw was injured pretty significantly and he has a permanent limp, but he is still able to keep up with the rowdy dogs during playgroups at the shelter (though we would recommend he meet any other canine companions before going home with them)! Houston is a bit scared of kids and would do best in a home without them and staff is unsure of how he does with cats. This goofy and lovable slobber-monster is always happy to go on a walk, play fetch, or just chill and cuddle with you at home!
