Azalea is a 3 year old female pit mix! This sweet angel first showed up to the shelter as a stray back in November of 2025. Azalea was pretty malnourished and only weighed 50 pounds when she first got to us. With a lot of love and care, Azalea is now at a healthy weight of 74 lbs and every pound she gained was just more of her for us to love! Azalea prefers to be the only canine lady in your life and would do best in a home without female dogs. As for the male dogs, Azalea is a bit selective with her guy friends and we would ask that she meets them before adoption. Staff is unsure of how she will do with cats. Azalea is a super affectionate gal who loves to cuddle and take a nice long nap! She is a Mass Street Mutts superstar and a bit of a celebrity at the Lucky Dog bakery downtown! She is extremely food motivated and is willing to do just about anything for a pup cup!
